While You Were Out...

Students that have been absent from school will need to complete work that was missed. The student policy will be applied from the handbook. Missed work will be collected throughout the day and placed into a box labeled "While Your Were Out..."

CSAP Prep Group

Our 3rd graders have been involved in a group that is preparing them for their first time taking the CSAP test. For the last few weeks we have discussed the type of test takers we are and tips on how to be a "test hero!" This morning, the 3rd graders took their first practice reading test in Ms. Oaks class. During our CSAP prep, we discussed our answers and how we can prepare ourselves better.

3rd grade Reading CSAP is scheduled to take place on February 23rd and 24th at 9:00am. The writing and math portions will take place in March.

Scholastic Orders for January are due back by January 21st (Friday)! We have a good looking classroom library thanks to generous donations from students and from placed orders...lets continue to make it grow!

Save the Date...

Conferences are coming next month so please be sure to save the date. 1st grade will be February 14th (Monday), 2nd grade will be February 15th (Tuesday), and 3rd grade will be February 16th (Wednesday). A sign up sheet will be sent home within the next few weeks with times. Conferences will run from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. I look forward to this student lead conference!

Our Learner's did an amazing job today with getting back into routine. This will be a great 2nd semester. I hope that your families had an enjoyable and restful holiday break.
