Family Movie Night

The PTO invites you and your family to BECS
to watch a movie this Friday (3/4/11) from 5:00 to 8:00pm.

Valentine Skate Night

Join Bromley's PTO at Wagon Wheel Skate Center for some skating fun.
This event has been rescheduled for March 2nd (Wednesday) from 6:00 - 8:00pm.
Admission is $4.00 for regular skates. In-line skate rental is an additional $3.00.

Fundraiser time!!!

Students will learn more about this event on Tuesday. We will be having a "kick off" event...help your kids get their selling face on to support our school!

3rd grade Reading CSAP

is NEXT WEEK!!! The test will

be Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00.

Need ideas to help your kiddo get over the test anxiety...

pack a snack pack with fruit and juice,

write them a letter of encouragement, or

talk about good test taking strategies!

Jumprope for the Heart

Forms are due back to school by Wednesday!

Congratulations to all of Mrs. Tate's learners for leading such a great conference! It was wonderful to hear from the kids on how they are doing in school and how they can grow. I am so proud! Parent Teacher Conference THIS WEEK!!

1st grade - Monday, February 14th

2nd grade - Tuesday, February 15th

3rd grade - Wednesday, February 16th

Conferences will be led by the students and will last 15 minutes long. Please arrive a few minutes early before your scheduled time. Thank you and I look forward to discussing your childs education.

February Scholastic orders are due back Thursday, February 17th!

Picture Retakes

Retake of the class picture (as well as individual) will be Monday, February 14th. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their best uniform!

After School Club:

Interested in getting your child involved in science after school? Sign them up for "Science Matters in America". Registration forms went home in their Friday Folders. Please contact the front office with any questions you might have!

Blue Shirt Thursday

Help support a former BECS teacher that is fighting colon cancer by donating $1.oo. For the donation your child will be allowed to wear a blue shirt on Thursday, February 17th along with uniform pants. Money is due by Wednesday. Please contact Mrs. Tate if you have any questions. Thank you for your support!

Jump Rope for Heart Event

Help your child raise money as they jump rope for the American Heart Association. Contact Ms. Parsons at lparsons@bromleyeastcs.org for questions. Thank you in advance for your child's support!

Valentine's Day Party

Learner's will be having their Valentine's Day party on Friday, February 11th at 2:00pm. During this time, student's will exchange valentine cards, enjoy snacks, and watch a movie. Learner's have been asked to decorate a shoebox and bring it in no later than Wednesday, February 9th. A class list went home last Friday in their Friday Folders.
