Denver Zoo

On April 14th (Thursday), the Montessori classes will be taking a field trip to the Denver Zoo. Money and permission slips are due back by March 25th (Friday).

Adopted Pets are on their way...

Due to generous donations, our class was able to adopt an endangered animal. The class selected to adopt a "tub of cubs." The adoption certificate, information card, a picture of our pet, and three stuffed animals should be arriving prior to spring break! Thank you so much...the kids were SO excited to hear that they were able to help our ecosystem!

CSAP Baby

Get ready 3rd graders...here comes CSAP! CSAP will begin on March 15th and ending next week. Reading groups will be switched again on testing days. Paper Donation Contest

Parents please help our class get a free dress day on Monday, April 4th (day after Spring Break). Each student needs to bring in a ream of white copy paper for 100% participation. When we get 100% participation we get a Free Dress Day!

NO MORE SNACK TIME!

I apologize in advance, but our learners have been experiencing a theft issue in the classroom. Snacks are going missing often! Until further notice, students are not allowed to have snack time in the morning nor in the afternoon. Water bottles are still allowed. Class Adoption

Our Learners would like to adopt an endangered animal from World Wildlife Funds. A donation of $2.00 from each child will allow our class to recieve information on an endangered animal, a plush animal, and a certificate of adoption. If you are able please bring in cash only by Monday, March 7th. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Pi Day - March 14th (Monday)

Please bring in ONE pie (or something round) to celebrate Pi day as well as enhancing your child's understanding of fractions.

Lost and Found

On March 25th (Dress of Choice Day) is the last day to pick up items in the lost and found. Items will be donated if not claimed!

Wearin' O' the Greens/Jeans

Students and staff may wear jeans or out of uniform greens; however, they MUST pay a dollar on March 17th (Thursday). Money raised will go to the 8th grade graduation. Please support your BECS 8th graders and wear green!

CSAP for grades 3rd - 8th will begin March 15th at 8:30am.
