Homework for the 3rd Quarter and 4th Quarter:
Reading logs and math word problems will continue, but I will be adding on a new assignment. Writing to prompts! Learner's will be given a weeks worth of prompts that will be taliored to each day. They are expected to do a "plan" on the back of the sheet and then write on the front side. Each page is worth 10 points - 5 for the plan and 5 for the writing. Math Homework for 2nd Quarter:
Word Problems
Like our reading logs, the math word problems are due every Monday. Students are encouraged to work with their parents on 1 or 2 problems a night. I am asking that parents initial each completed word problems. Please feel free to email me any comments or concerns. Thank you and happy solving!

Reading Logs!!!
Reading logs will be starting on August 23rd. Please sit with your child every night and have them read to you.
1st grade - 10 minutes
2nd grade - 20 minutes
3rd grade - 20 minutes
AND
10 minutes of responding to the reading
Reading logs (and responses from 3rd graders) needed to be turned into me by September 7th. Parents, please ensure that you have initialed each entry! Thank you!
